Carol Vredenburgh
Having worked as a designer and children’s book illustrator for the majority of her career, in 2011 Carol Vredenburgh began focusing on her own paintings full time. It's been a journey that has led her to be more open creatively and spiritually. These days her work frequently brings her to New Mexico as inspiration for her abstract landscapes. As a result, she lives part time in Jemez Springs where she loves painting in the desert or exploring one of the state’s many beautiful National Parks. When she's not in New Mexico, she works from her home studio in New Hampshire. Painting is her way of saying 'thank you' to God for the amazing gift of life on this planet, and she hopes that her joy and gratitude come through in her work.
