A. Vigil was born at Jemez Pueblo, NM, and has lived in this ancestral community for most of his life. It is from his experiences in a vibrant culture, daily life, and Towa language that James draws his artistic influence. James enthusiastically depicts glimpses of pueblo life through carvings in alabaster, steatite, marble and other stones as well as limited bronze editions.

Betsie
Miller-Kusz was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico and has been painting for over 30 years. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including a recent show at the United Nations building in New York City. Her most recent works combine natural elements of earth, air, fire and water with a feminine guardian figure -- a protector of our earth.

Linsay
Locke is a Nebraska-born multimedia artist who received a BFA in painting from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, a MFA in pictoral art from San José State University in California and a MA in art therapy from University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The gallery displays her oil paintings and works in watercolor and mixed-media.

Vigi-Vigil is a life-long painter and retired art teacher who calls Jemez her home. She specializes in plein air oil paintings of Jemez landscapes and figures. Her desire is to capture the essence of God's creation as it is during a particular point in time so that others may enjoy its magnificence. |

Williams is a fine art sculptor of figures in wood, bronze, steel, concrete, graphite and stone. He creates large liturgical commissions as well as more contemporary, lyrical work. His sculptures can be seen at Glenn Green Galleries in Santa Fe.

Tracy Martinez specializes in fiber arts, specifically loom weaving tapestry blankets in wool. She collect the wool from the actual sheep and turns it into fine art blankets suitable for display or everyday use.

Kristen Mendenhall received her BFA from Pitzer College, Claremont, CA. During her career as a psychologist, she became certified as an art therapist, using this to help children who lost their homes in several major CA firestorms. After retiring to Jemez Springs, she returned to photography and painting where she expresses her reverence for the geological beauty of our area. Her macro photographs invite the viewer to focus attention on the easily overlooked details in weathered stone and paint.

Mary Stovall lives in the quiet and seclusion of the Jemez Mountains where she paints Southwestern landscapes, figurative/portraits, and small still lifes in both oil and pastel. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Art Education; she has also studied at Hastings College (Nebraska), University of Oxford (England); College of Santa Fe and with numerous gifted and talented national and internationally recognized artists.
